Welcome to *GNIST

The Global Network of Internet Studies Teachers [GNIST] is a collaborative initiative amongst teachers everywhere engaged in teaching internet topics in primary and secondary schools, as well as after-school programs, colleges, universities, and adult education.

GNIST is a forum for discussion on a range of issues connected to teaching about the internet. We envisage the organization of national and international conferences devoted to our topic, as well as the coordination of efforts to promote internet studies in different settings.

We invite internet educators everywhere to join us in helping GNIST become a valuable resource for us all. Share your ideas, experience, and suggestions, and become actively involved in developing the burgeoning field of Internet Studies.

For more information and to join our network, please send us an email via the "contact" section of Living Online Lab.

Let’s work together to help support our students – and the internet.

Thank you,

Reuben Loewy
